Nigeria and the Netherlands will work together to enhance the performance of Nigeria’s seed sector through the Nigeria-Netherlands Seed Partnership. The project partners are Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation, Sahel Consulting, Plantum and Naktuinbouw.

The Ethiopia-Netherlands Seed Partnership aims to enable private sector actors to provide Ethiopian farmers with access to high-quality seed of improved varieties. The project focuses on business development, innovation, education, employment and enabling environment.

The SeedNL community is able to apply for funding of initiatives, which serve to strengthen enabling environments in Low and Middle-Income countries. Activities focus on provision of support or training in the following areas: variety release, seed quality assurance, regulatory, seed business licensing and seed imports and exports.
