Partnership Characterisation Study

SeedNL aims to systematically learn from the partnerships it initiates and advises on. Therefore we developed a partnership characterisation instrument together with Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation. This instrument analyses how partnerships were formed, with what ambition, how partners work together and how effectively they do so.

This report presents the final instrument as well as lessons learnt from four countries where the instrument was trialed in: Ethiopia, Nigeria, Mali and Uganda. These key lessons can be used by SeedNL but also by any organisation working on multi-stakeholder partnerships to strengthen their work and to create bigger impact.
